The Global Liner Performance (GLP) report shows that vessel schedule reliability continues to trend upwards. The report includes data from 34 trade lanes and over 60 carriers.

In December 2022, 56.6% of vessels were on time, which was only 0.1 percentage points better than November 2022, but 24.8 percentage points better than December 2021. But these numbers are still down from pre-pandemic norms of 70-80%.

Out of the top 14 carriers, MSC was the most reliable in December with 63.3% schedule reliability, followed by Maersk at 60.1%. Only two carriers were below 50%, with Yang Ming at 47.7% and Zim at 47.2%.
