As previously advised, the strike action will start May 27, Monday at the Port of Vancouver. On Sunday afternoon, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Canada issued a press release stating there would be “limited and targeted job action” on Monday.
The limited job action includes an overtime ban, but the union is not putting up picket lines.
This is of course good news to hear for all parties and are hopeful that a quick resolution will be found with minimal effect on GCT Vancouver’s operations
