How much does ChatGPT know about shipping?

ChatGPT is all the rage these days. If you haven’t heard of it, it is a prototype artificial intelligence chatbot which specializes in dialogue. Journalist Hariesh Manaadiar decided to test ChatGPT’s knowledge about global shipping by asking it, “What to do if I lose my original ocean bill of lading?”

Unfortunately, ChatGPT’s responses was inaccurate, including its definition of bill of lading. While the app’s interaction is fascinating, it still has a lot of maturation to do. Don’t rush to the app to find accurate information about shipping and freight just yet.
