Canaan Honoured with 5 Years of Workplace Excellence

Canaan Shipping has been recognized as a Top Fleet Employer of Distinction after working hard to provide an excellent workplace for their employees.

Canaan Shipping has been honoured as a Top Fleet Employer of Distinction after 5 consecutive years of recognition as one of Canada’s Top Fleet Employers. The program has been in place since 2014 and involves a rigorous annual review to confirm trucking and logistics employers uphold a standard of excellence in recruitment and retention practices, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development, and innovative HR practices. The national program is open to trucking and logistics companies of all sizes, whether private or public. The program is entirely voluntary and companies must apply to be assessed. 

Canaan is proud of its employees and wants to ensure they are well-served at their workplace. The Harvard Business Review article, “Building a Culture of Experimentation” outlines 5 tenets of building a culture of experimentation that Canaan Group works on. We believe the Top Fleet Employer distinction is a fruit of these efforts.
