Air Canada Cargo Expands Service to Belgium and Switzerland

Starting in April 2023, Air Canada Cargo will begin their Boeing 767 freighter service from Toronto to Liege, Belgium, with a stop in Halifax on the way. It will also start a service to Basel, Switzerland.

The flights to Liege will operate twice per week, with service increasing to three flights per week later in the year. The flights to Basel will also start with two flights per week. Basel is one of Europe’s premiere pharmaceutical hubs.

Air Canada Cargo has also recently expanded its freighter network to include service to Dallas and Atlanta in the United States, and to Bogota, Columbia. In October 2022, Air Canada Cargo started flights from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, to Frankfurt and Madrid.
